Steve Hill, a veteran manager who has successfully worked with EBSCO in a variety of management roles since 1989, has been named general manager of Luxor/H. Wilson. “I thank Steve for his willingness to take on a new management challenge for the company,” EBSCO President and CEO F. Dixon Brooke, Jr., said. “Part of our challenge is to develop additional markets to successfully serve and re-establish a growth pattern. It is expected that Steve will provide the needed leadership to effectively confront these challenges.”
Hill has the unique distinction of serving as general manager to three different EBSCO businesses: Vitronic/Four Seasons, 1989–2000; Wayne Industries, 2003–2008; and Luxor/H. Wilson, beginning in 2009.
With this management change, Bob Raw is assuming the role of director of sales – new markets. “We are pleased that Bob will help us in our efforts to develop additional markets and we are confident we will continue to benefit from his experience in the industry,” Brooke said. “We thank Bob for his efforts as general manager from 1992 to 2009. Under his leadership, Luxor/H. Wilson recorded a consistent level of profitable results, and for this we say ‘thank you.’"
