EBSCO is aware that every action yields a reaction within the environment. Consequently, EBSCO strives to make environmentally sound choices from the start, minimizing overall environmental impact and lessening clean-up in the future.

EBSCO chose recycled carpeting and low energy, motion-activated lighting units during the 2007 renovation of International Headquarters. EBSCO dedicates extra time and resources to researching these options and strives to select the most reputable and environmentally conscious companies with whom to contract.

Future plans include the installation of solar panels at select facilities and the gradual shift toward a 100-percent hybrid fleet of company cars.
