1958 Operations were combined under EBSCO Industries, Inc., "profit centers" were established, and corporate headquarters moved to the center of Birmingham.
1960 Hanson-Bennett Magazine Agency, Chicago, was acquired.
1963 Library subscription service office, EBSCO's first sales effort to libraries, was opened in Boston.
1967 The Burkhardt Co. of Detroit (binder manufacturer) was purchased.
1967 National Publications Co. of Los Angeles was acquired.
1968 EBSCO Subscription Services (ESS) had 10 regional offices.
1969 Vulcan Information Packaging built the nation's most modern loose-leaf binder plant.
1971 J.T. Stephens succeeded Elton B. Stephens as President.
1972 Franklin Square Agency was purchased to double the volume of ESS.
1975 Publisher Promotion and Fulfillment was founded to serve publishers.
1975 ESS opened an office in Europe.
 
1976 Valley Joist was acquired.
1977 H. Wilson Company, Chicago, was acquired.
1977 EBSCO Media quadrupled its size by moving to a new location.
1980 EBSCO Reception Room Subscription Services was established to provide subscription savings to professional offices.
1980 EBSCO Telephone Sales (currently EBSCO TeleServices) was created to provide promotional and research capabilities to publishers.
1980 PRADCO (Rebel Lures) was acquired by EBSCO. Cordell was then acquired by PRADCO.
1981 ESS established a Regional Office in Sydney, NSW, Australia.
1982 EBSCO moved to a 134,000-square-foot International Headquarters.
1982 Moore-Cottrell, a subscription agency, was acquired.
1984 NSC International was purchased.
1984 EBSCO Publishing was created to provide a serials reference book to the library community.
1986 EBSCO Electronic Information (now part of EBSCO Publishing) was initiated to develop and produce electronic information products.
