As you probably know, EBSCO employees come from all walks of life. We have a very diverse and productive group of employees who work for EBSCO with a common goal: EBSCO's long-term growth and success.

The responsibilities of EBSCO's Human Resources Department begin with a search for new employees who have high personal standards and the skills and motivation required for the job. EBSCO customers in the global marketplace require suppliers who have energetic, efficient and knowledgeable employees who form a competitive, customer-oriented team.

The Human Resources Department also works to establish a working "home" for employees by creating a good working environment combined with sound values, effective management and excellent policy/benefit administration. EBSCO is committed to treating all employees equally. Various programs help maintain company goals to hire and promote employees without regard to race, religion, sex, age, national origin or disability.

However, that's just the beginning. EBSCO also strongly believes in training employees, developing employees and fostering an atmosphere for employee growth to achieve more efficiency, productivity and job satisfaction.

Because good communication is so essential to good working conditions, EBSCO fosters an open door policy which allows an employee to communicate through channels to a supervisor, the next management level, the Human Resources Director and EBSCO's president, as the employee deems necessary.
