Eric Essary Named Associate Director of Acquisitions

Eric Essary recently joined EBSCO"s Acquisitions team as associate director, working under the direction of Matt Carrington, vice president of Acquisitions. "We"re excited that Eric has joined our team. His background and experience working in mergers and acquisitions is a perfect fit," Carrington said. Before joining EBSCO, Eric was an associate in the graduate leadership development program at Mars, Inc., a global manufacturer of confectionery, pet food and other food products. Previously, he was an associate at Harbert Private Equity Funds, a subsidiary of Harbert Management Corporation of Birmingham, Ala., and focused on private equity investments across a variety of industries. "Already, I have come to appreciate the great people and opportunities at this unique and diverse company," Essary said. "I look forward to having a positive impact on EBSCO"s future growth through acquisitions."
