MetaPress® Announces the Addition of Two Publishers

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – August 20, 2012 – MetaPress®, an industry-leading hosting service for  scientific, technical, and medical content as well as humanities and social sciences, recently added Zeta Books and Manchester University Press to the list of publishers who have recently signed agreements for services from MetaPress.

Zeta Books, located in Bucharest, Romania has the mission of providing humanities content in both print and electronic formats at affordable prices.  Their editorial board includes scholars with backgrounds in anthropology, sociology, history, philosophy, history of art, and theology.  Zeta Books also publishes several journals.  “One of the advantages of using MetaPress hosting services,” said Cristian Ciocan, general editor, “is the ability to display results from both books and journals from one search.” 

MetaPress was also selected recently by Manchester University Press to host both journal and eBook content.  “MetaPress provided Manchester University Press with the services we were looking for to support our future plans in enhancing the delivery of our journal content and developing new online resources such as Manchester Medieval Sources Online,” said Simon Bell, director of sales and marketing for Manchester University Press. “We are pleased with the support we have so far experienced and look forward to the full platform launch later this year,” he added.
