Newt Higman Joins EBSCO Media as National Sales Manager

With 22 years in sales management and personal sales in office technology and IT services, Newt Higman has been hired as the new national sales manager at EBSCO Media (EM). His past experience includes serving 18 years with Ricoh/Lanier Business Solutions, and most recently as vice president of Ricoh Global Services for Western U.S. Region. Since 2008, Higman has served as senior vice president of ASI Business Solutions in Dallas, and president of Printwise Technologies in Birmingham, Ala.

“Higman has proven leadership in sales management, marketing and technology. His understanding of the challenges of today’s commercial printing industry is expected to expand EBSCO Media’s market share in commercial printing, data-driven market solutions and variable data printing,” Landers Sevier, IV, vice president and general manager of EM, said.

Regarding his appointment to national sales manager, Newt said, “I look forward to optimizing the current sales processes, strengthening our existing client relationships and achieving a world-class level of customer service excellence.”
