Since starting Summit Treestands in 1981, John Woller Sr. insists his treestands meet four criteria — comfortable, quiet, concealed and above all, safe — known as the Big 4. Along with Woller"s help, the engineers at Summit have taken the quiet principle to a new dimension with the introduction of DeadMetal technology. DeadMetal technology takes the vibration out of the platform of the stand, reducing the resonance and noise associated with limbs and other obstacles, allowing hunters to enter or exit their setup more quietly than ever before.
David South, general manager of Summit Treestands, is excited about how this technology will keep Summit at the top of the climbing stand market. “Summit’s technology and innovation have led the way for 30 years, and we hope to continue that trend with revolutionary ideas like DeadMetal.” DeadMetal will be included on all Summit climbing stands beginning this fall.
Summit"s climbing stands that feature DeadMetal technology will have a darker green paint than the paint used in previous years.
