EBSCO Community Impact is, a team member-led, funding and volunteer program designed to help create positive results through the financial support and volunteer service EBSCO provides. This annual program is dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations through monetary contributions and volunteer service. We invite nonprofits focused on one, or more, of EBSCO’s five community pillars to participate.

We aim to improve the education of our children and the education of our neighbors, so all have an opportunity to attain economic stability.
We seek to protect our natural environment and sustain our natural resources, enabling future generations to lead lives enhanced by the world around us.
We support human services focused on either preventing or solving problems, facilitating a healthy quality of life.
We strive to support health initiatives that foster medical advancements and provide healthcare services to create healthy communities.
We foster arts programs which inspire creativity and innovation, enriching the lives of the members of our community.
In FY20, EBSCO Community Impact awarded grants to 20 local nonprofit organizations in amounts ranging from $2,000 to $16,000.
All nonprofit organizations which give priority to one or more of the community pillars above, and service Blount, Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair, and Walker counties are invited to participate.
Deadline to Submit 2021 Grant Proposals: October 28, 2020.
